Unearthing the History of Gosberton Risegate
The Gosberton Risegate report explores discoveries recovered from the Lincolnshire Fenlands during our July 2025 detecting event.
Recovered finds range from Roman and Medieval coinage to crotal bells, trade artefacts and military-related objects, offering insight into centuries of activity across the local landscape. Discoveries from the Festival of History Rally
The Festival of History report documents coins, artefacts and historical discoveries recovered during the Digging History UK rally held at the historic Childerley Estate in Cambridgeshire.
Recovered finds span centuries of activity across the landscape, with evidence suggesting the area may have been in continuous use from the Stone Age through to the modern period. Festival of History Rally - September 2024
Exploring the History of Deeping & Glinton
The Deeping & Glinton report documents discoveries recovered during our four-day international rally held across the historic landscapes of south Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
Recovered finds range from Celtic and Roman coinage to Medieval artefacts, hammered silver, pottery shards and everyday objects spanning thousands of years of local activity. The report also explores the archaeological significance of the Deepings and Glinton area, where evidence suggests settlement and land use dating back to the Neolithic period.
